I am available for private classes for Hatha Yoga and Yoga Therapy.
My yoga classes are a gentle form of Hatha yoga with the focus
on working "with the body". The aim is to relax the entire body, from
the tip of the toes to the top of the head.
A private class will cater to your particular need whether it is
to gently stretch the body for improved movement and flexibility, to learn
breathing and meditation techniques to help calm and relax the mind, or the
combination of both for better life balance and less stress.
The group classes are suitable for all ages and abilities, though
tend to appeal to people looking for a therapeutic approach to yoga.
All classes are suitable for injuries and illness, as options
are provided for the postures to suit each participant's abilities on the day.

The class format is a combination of postures (stretches), balances, breathing and meditation/relaxation. Class begins with approx. 10mins of breathing to bring our focus within. We then move through a gentle warm up and progress into stronger postures. The postures are performed sitting, laying and standing with amendments provided for any injury or aliment. The class is finished with another breathing practice and a 10 to 15min relaxation or guided mediation.
At the end of a class, participants should feel refreshed and relaxed and ready to resume their day with renewed energy.
